In addition, Kanban limits the amount of inventory in the process by acting as an authorization to produce more product, saving you meterial dollars!

The production or delivery of components are pulled through the production processes based solely on actual customer demand when Kanban methodology is used. This stands in stark contrast to the traditional forecast oriented method where parts are pushed through the production processes based on customer demand speculation.
